At Maison Fido, everything started with our own dogs. For a long time, we searched for a way to integrate our dogs’ daily life into our home without compromising our living space or our sense of design. We wanted our dogs to feel safe and comfortable, especially when we were cleaning, welcoming guests, or simply needed a moment of calm. Everything we found in pet shops felt like a cage. That was never the feeling we wanted for our dogs. So we created something ourselves. My husband transformed an old side table and built a quiet, enclosed space inside it just for them. Our dogs immediately adopted it as their own — a place to rest, eat, and retreat whenever they wanted peace. That first prototype later became what is now known as The Caniture Element, and it sparked the idea behind Maison Fido: furniture that creates a home for your dog within your home. Today we continue to design pieces that combine calm, comfort, and refined design — made for people who love their homes and their dogs equally. No compromises. Just harmony.
